NSFA is pleased to announce our 2008-2009 membership drive as an opportunity to provide special services to K-12 school foundations. New and renewed memberships will be valid through October 31, 2009.
Joining a professional organization says many things. It means you want to learn and grow. It means you know that you are not alone in your work, and others in similar positions can help. You know that encouragement is often all you need to make an idea succeed. Joining a national organization says you are seeing your foundation work with a professional outlook and perspective.

DESCRIPTION OF MEMBER BENEFITS
-
National Conference registration discount for staff and board members NSFA is very cognizant of the costs associated with running a foundation, and NSFA learning opportunities are established with a concern for cost. To help foundation directors and board members receive as much from NSFA learning experiences as possible, we are pleased to offer members a reduced registration fee at our national conference!
-
Membership Certificate By joining a national organization that brings mutual support, you are also helping the national mission of foundation awareness, success, and growth. A membership certificate, suitable for framing, indicates a public statement showing your involvement in the K-12 school foundation national movement.
-
Use of NSFA Member logo on Web site and publications Marketers and public relations professionals say that identifying quality and a "Housekeeping Seal of Approval" proclaims not only a professional association but a high standard of quality. NSFA feels that organizations who use their membership to learn and improve should be able to show patrons and others that they have, indeed, made efforts to be of high quality. Placing a 'member' logo on your 'front door' tells the community that you are linked to a national effort!
