Google Offers Free Software to Nonprofit Groups

Google has announced that it is making the educational version of its Google Apps product available free to nonprofit organizations in the United States.

Google has announced that it is making the educational version of its Google Apps product available free to nonprofit organizations in the United States.

The collection of communication and collaboration tools includes e-mail and calendar programs, Internet-based telephone and text-messaging services, and word-processing, spreadsheet, and Web-publishing applications. Google charges businesses $50 a year for the tools and services. READ MORE

The National School Foundation Association (NSFA) web site was made possible in 2002 through a grant from the U.S. Department of Education in collaboration with the University of Northern Iowa (UNI). Currently the NSFA operates as a stand alone not for profit national organization with offices in Des Moines, Iowa.
