Jeff Abke joined Perrysburg Schools as Director of Development in 2013. In this role, he supports the Perrysburg Schools Foundation (PSF) and all aspects of private support for the school district, including the Perrysburg Alumni Association. Perrysburg, a suburb of Toledo in Northwest Ohio, educates over 5,200 students preschool-12 across eight schools. PSF and Perrysburg Schools seek public support from individuals, businesses and community organizations to fund grants, scholarships, capital projects and endowment investments that meet the school district’s needs and mission of ensuring all students achieve their greatest potential. Perrysburg Schools recently opened the Walt Churchill Track and Huskisson Athletic Center, renovated its Jr. High Auditorium, launched a Girls in STEM Club, funded a leadership and anti-bullying program and kicked-off a $2M+ comprehensive campaign for the arts with the support of donors.
Jeff is a 1996 graduate of Perrysburg High School and has worked in education fundraising for 18 years. Prior to returning to his alma mater, he held various development and alumni relations positions at Pomfret School (Pomfret, CT), Miami University (Oxford, OH) and St. Lawrence University (Canton, NY). Jeff earned a Bachelor of Arts from Miami University and has been a NSFA Certified Education Foundation Leader since 2016.
